Peratallada Herbs Fair
This fair is intended to publicise the great variety of herbs that exist and their wide range of applications, so the show has a marked educational and pedagogical character. Visitors can find specialised craft stalls throughout the day where they can buy all kinds of fresh and dried herbs, medicinal plants and ointments, sauces, breads and liquors. Parallel activities are also organised, such as discovery workshops about the environment, talks and exhibitions.
The Town Hall considered that the world of herbs is closely linked to history, nature and traditions, aspects that fit in perfectly with the type of image that we want to project from Peratallada and Forallac. The traditional fair of Peratallada from 2004 became a monographic show dedicated to the world of herbs. The objective was to differentiate it from the other fairs that are celebrated in the area and offer a proposal with added value for visitors.
