The current temple preserves the Romanesque nave, from the 11th century, which was later modified. The Romanesque apparatus can be seen on the western façade, where a Renaissance door and a rose window were opened. The barrel vault, which is plastered, must be the old cover. It is fortified and the Romanesque vault was replaced in the 18th century by a crucifix with a dome and a carved apse. The chapels were added later and the bell tower is from 1755. At the Museum of Art of Girona (old Diocese) there is a Renaissance gothic cross from Fonteta.
