This was built two kilometres north of the old quarter (deeper within the Gavarres massif), in a less remote place than most of the many farms that are spread through the area. It can be easily seen from the road from Girona to Palamós. The parochial temple is an 18th century building, with a nave with side chapels and a polygonal chancel. On the western façade there is the rectangular limestone portal. It is decorated with a pediment and hemispheres in relief. There is a niche, now without an image, and above it in circular relief, the IHS anagram. We can also see the inscription that informs us of the time when it was built: (begun 1737 - completed 1751).
